My dear friend Crystal grew up next door to me through high school. We shared a fence, a gate that joined our two backyards, friends, adventures and plenty of secrets. One of my fondest memories of Crystal was when we decided to start a cul-de-sac newspaper with our two sisters in middle school. Needless to say, it didn’t last long, but our friendship was quiet the opposite. It has stayed strong over the years, and I am so proud to say that this amazing human being is one of my best and closest friends who I plan on never letting go. I am so grateful for her gorgeous spirit, inside and out. Photographing her on our 1 snow day this winter was so much fun and I am in love with the images that turned out! I had a hard time choosing my favorites, so there are lots of them to see. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

In the spring I had the chance to get to know one of my boyfriend’s good friends, Ida, when she was visiting from Denmark. The day before her flight went out of Portland home, we drove up to Portland for a fun little day of running around, cupcake eating, shopping, etc. This girl is awesome, and by the end of her trip I was so sad to see her go. Here are some fun pictures from our Portland adventure. Ida – I miss you and can’t wait for you to come back and visit again soon! Maybe the skittle houses in Portland are in our future…? I hope so!

Macy & Noah’s wedding day! These two were such a joy and so much fun to be around, not to mention what a blast their whole wedding party was. They had the best group of dancers on that dance floor yet to be seen, with choreographed Thriller dancers, a fire dancer and all! Thank you Macy & Noah for having me be a part of your special day! Also, a thanks to Renee Deese for second shooting.

I had the privilege of shooting two of the best people last spring! Tim and Amy are dear friends of mine, and they also happen to be awesomely photogenic and super rad. Love you guys!
